Our understanding of sustainability

Finca La Amistad is a 95-hectare farm in the north of Costa Rica that sustainably cultivates mainly cacao and indigenous hardwoods. The farm operates on the principle of sustainability as we are convinced that only a holistic approach can be profitable in the long run. Our goal is to generate sustainable value – for Finca La Amistad, for our employees, the local population and the biosphere. With Finca La Amistad, we wish to establish sustainable agriculture and forestry as a profitable business model, thereby making a positive contribution to improving the quality of life of the local population.

Our business relationships should also be sustainable. It is important to us that we only enter into trusting relationships with partners who share our understanding of quality and sustainability.
